Do you provide free conferences and progression reports?
Yes, parental communication is important to us. Free conferences can be requested any time. Progression reports are provided at the end of each semester (fall, spring, and summer) or as needed. The best feedback and accountability of the success at Process Learning Tutoring comes from the school, students, and parents seeing immediate results!
How often will my child have to attend each week?
It is my professional recommendation that each student attends Process Learning Tutoring for two hours per week, usually one hour on Mondays and Wednesdays or one hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is important to achieve the rate of progression necessary to remediate the diagnosed skill gaps as quickly as possible. Students who only attend one hour a week in any tutorial programs will not get the consistent instruction to progress adequately. Parents will spend more money in the long-run if students are able to attend only one hour a week. However, if students are only able to attend once-a-week, instruction would still benefit student rather than no tutorial instruction.
Would 30 minutes of instruction be better than 60 minutes of instruction?
Definitely, not. The rate of progression would not be as effective. Process Learning Tutoring provides direct and guided instruction for the FULL 60 minutes of all hourly sessions. None of the 60 minutes you pay for includes dismissing students 5 - 10 minutes earlier. This would result in you paying an hourly fee for only 50-55 minutes.
