Providing the proven effective academic prescription to remediate and correct the diagnosed skill gaps, which are causing a student to struggle, requires even more expertise.

Process Learning Tutoring's Battery of Criteriorn-Referenced Tests are all very intensive and extensive.  These two-hour evaluations will be administered by an education specialist - not a computer. 

The Reading Diagnostic Evaluation will diagnose your child in the specific skill areas of: Sight Word Recognition, Phonetic and Structural Analysis of the Vocabulary Area, Oral Reading Comprehension, Silent Reading Comprehension, and Spelling /Phonics Area.

The Math Diagnostic Evaluation will diagnose your child in the specific skill areas of: Facts, Concepts, Computations, and Word Problem-Solving from Kindergarten through Algebra I.  

The Writing Diagnostic Evaluation will diagnose your child in the specific skill areas of:

Grammar Skills in Isolation, Sentence Writing, Paragraph Writing, Composition Writing, Editing, and Elaborations.  Your child's handwriting will also be analyzed.   



After the evaluation, an in-depth analysis will be conducted.  This analysis will identify your child's three learning levels consisting of the Independent Level, the Instructional Level, and the Frustration Level. Also, your child's specific strengths, borderline strengths, weaknesses, and specfic skill gaps will be revealed.
